Finished my First (unharmful) computer program today! It's a tic tac toe game :P Yeah nothing too fancy. I'm still learning. I am having a lot of fun though! And I'm learning quick. This program was supposed to be next 6 weeks project, and I finished it in two days, And added more pizazz than required to get a 100 on the assignment. But since I have all six weeks to do it still, I'm going to be continuously adding to it :D

DotA!

So right now, as I type, I am at a totally awesome gaming party. Except! Everyone is either asleep or went home.. there's 4 of us now. It was nice to have a room full of computers again blaring the DotA song. I need to get a new wireless card though. The budget card I have doesn't seem to work well at all if your doing constant stream gaming.

Now I feel ridiculous. I'm glad no one was around to witness it. I don't feel as embarrassed to say it though. lol. I just realized it's thundering outside.. I left the windows in my truck rolled down. So I just ran outside right? Got the windows rolled up (good timing too, it JUST started to pour as I type this sentance...). My friends dad left his motorcycle parked outside. That really stinks. It sprinkled a little bit on it. Luckily they left the garage door cracked open just enough that I could squeeze under. I undid the latch on the door, raised it up, and pushed the bike into the safety. Good deed done! I had the smart idea of going back into his house through the door to the garage and wander through the living room in the dark. I should have pondered that one over a little more. I forgot they have a coffee table in the middle of the room... so I walked right into it, fell completely over it, and bruised my shins. One of them is even bleeding! It was rather intense. I'm surprised I was able to restrain my yelp in pain and wake everyone up.

Crazy stuff man. Well, everyones lookin quite comfy being alseep, so I think I'll hit the sack too. Brock was even hugging his laptop a second ago. hahah.

Lots to do in such a small life

Was pretty lazy today. I blame that on my messed up sleeping schedule. But I'm to blame there anyway. Four of my friends came over today and we played Warcraft 3. We only had enough comptuers for 4 of us though. If my replacement motherboard could have just come one day sooner it would have been perfect! Or if Brocks (aka Psycho or Ps7cho) computer wasn't acting like such a poo. One of his three anyway. I think it's motherboard problem as well... it was a 10 dollar computer anyway, so he's not down too much. At least it still does internet very well. We might be able to turn it around for 20-30 bucks to someone else just looking for a working system. He's even got a spare monitor he could include. He really lucked out on bulk trash day though! He found a perfect fine decent working computer. It even had a wireless internet card inside, the very same one that can be purchased at walmart for 50 dollars. Or is it 70? I can't remember. Not a top of the line gaming system, but at least he got a free computer while the one he paid for crapped out on him.

As for my current room situation, it still needs major attention. On another note I've found my first partner in crime. A kid about my age who has a similar dream for an EFY website as I do. This may be my first chance to gain a starting edge in the web world. Ye-haw!

I have an urge to go for a motorcycle ride. I need to be careful with myself.

Works great!

Got my speedometer cable in the mail today! Well, yesterday actually. We're kinda bad at checking our mail box. But I installed it on the bike and it seems to be working Great!! I had to return a Wii video game to block buster, so I had a good 10-26 miles round trip to try it out. Passed a few cops and they didn't pull me over goin' what my bike claimed to be 4 or so over... so It's either accurate or fast. Either way it feels greatly reassuring to know how fast I'm going. Now I need to get used to the variables of driving a motorcycle and I wont have to look down to check my speed. It'll become an extension of myself! Connected, One with the Suzuki! haha

On another note. I have finally discovered a starting point to my computer programming career. It all starts with video games. At least it looks like it may for me.. I found a cool website called XNA. It's controlled by Microsoft, but it will allow me to learn one of the many programming languages and get jump started with knowledge! If nothing else I can make some cheap silly games to sell for a dollar on the iPhone. My dad might buy one :P It's the simple games that can be played in the little spare time between meetings and other business that he's generally interested. They really are fun though... I am pretty excited. Hopefully I actually learn something useful and I'm not wasting more time.

Dance your pants

Driving a motorcycle is really fun! Scary at times though.. Passing big trucks, or passing cars waiting to pull out into traffic. It's a scary way to travel if your not cautious. I bought a reflective face shield for my new helmet. It's pretty sick :P I just need to get the front forks rebuilt so it's a comfier ride, then fix up the side covers to look nice and I'll be the happiest camper! The biker world is becoming an intriguing one to meet. It's kinda nice so far. I need to find a few local rides to attend. That would be loads of fun too! And I need contacts... Not just because glasses are annoying, but I've had this current pair for more than 4 years.. They're all scratched up and fallin apart. It's so sad :'(

There was a stake dance tonight. But they kicked me out periodically because I wasn't wearing a collared shirt, and my shirt had writing on it. Personally, I think it's ridiculous. I do feel bad about the writing on my shirt though, I new that wasn't allowed and managed to grab the wrong shirt right before I went out the door. Just dumb. They're a bit too strict here. Last time they made me go buy pants, because shorts aren't allowed either. Really, the kids don't care THAT much. No one noticed i goofed up until the adults got involved. I think that will be my last youth dance as an attendee. In this stake anyway. I always manage to do Something against their rules. I should have just gone home when they kicked me out for wearing shorts too. I spent 20 bucks at Walmart on a lousy pair of jeans that I'll never wear again. And after that one night of wearing them the knee's are already starting to split. I'd take a 150 dollar pair of Lucky Brand jeans over Walmart's 20 dollars any day. The quality out last the cheapness in cost AND style. Besides, they're lucky :P

Oh, did I happen to mention I shaved?? It feels so weird. I've had a beard thing going for about 3 years... Gasp.



P.s. Blogger is having a hard time uploading these posts to my site.. They always get uploaded, but their program doesn't seem to realize that, so it keeps thinking until I tell it not to... Annoying really.

Facinating!!

I just heated up some left overs in the microwave.. 20 minutes ago, but I've been sitting here organizing stuff.

I've updated the error pages to the new layout. Now I need to fix them with the stunning red background I had before.

I need to buy a new motorcycle helmet too.. Goggles and a dirt bike helmet without the sun visor isn't quite cutting it. It keeps me safe! But the wind pulls up a little bit on my head. Time to go shopping!! My dads lookin' at motorcycles too. I mean, of course he is. We both have our M class licenses, but only I have a motorcycle. He wont be able to resist much longer :D

busy bee

Been a busy day heh?! I think I have the kinks worked out in the blogs layout. Not too much trouble. Now to put the style sheets into their own file to save bandwidth ^_^ not that I'm getting close to my limit at all. Wouldn't that be crazy?

I was messin with my camera the other night. My mom bought me a new camera last year around july. It was really nice! Except I had it for about 5 days and it started to not work anymore.. so when I got back from vacation I exchanged it for a new one. Same model. All was great until it started to not work either. Same problem too. So thinking I just had a bad camera two times in a row I took it back for another. Either I am very unlucky with camera's, or Kodak has seriously screwed up their camera's!!! Because it broke too. all of this before christmas of last year. I wonder if I can still return it for a different make and model?? lol. Either way I need a new camera! I didn't spend 45 bucks last year on a 4gig memory card just to store random files on! Lar.

Alright!! First blog post on my dads iPhone. Lol. So I've fixed up my new layout a bit. It's still quite simple, but sure looks a lot cooler than what I had. Oh man. I'm gettin car sick typing this up. I think I'll just leave it at this. Lol

Alright alright. ok ok. hey hey hey hey.

So I think it's time for a new site design. Would not you think so? This one is simple, easy to manage, but surprisingly took me a while to work correctly.. I used the PNG format for the images so I could use transparency, but then noticed in older web browsers they are white instead of transparent. Gif gifs would work much better. A new logo too. This one is all messed up. I'll see how creative I can get :D I've also noticed that if you view any individual post then there's a large gap at the top of the posts. I think it has something to do with the table style vertical centering.. I'll work on that too.

I think it's also time to finish my projects.. Starting with the HAM radio, because it's most likely to get used. I'll keep the myspace idea in an archive, because it could have some great potential if implemented into other future projects. I think the hardest thing to do will be keep my site up while I'm on my mission! when ever that will be. Maybe I'll just buy a some hosting space somewhere with a 5 year contract.. Then I'd know it would be safe :P

I just need more fun random things on here. Perhaps I'll make it more about me too. Put my About Me page back up. I don't expect tay.frih.net to be used for any commercial purposes anyway. I can use it to spread photo's and updates to family ^_^ I wonder how much trouble I'd get in posting pictures to googles picasa web albums while I'm on my mission.. lol.

oh! And I DID get my motorcycle back! it's about time too. I'll post some pictures -- in the future. lol. I can't guarantee tomorrow, but I'll try.

feeling much better

So I've been sick with Mono for the past 2 weeks. Blah. Worse than swine flu, seriously. Some mornings I'm just fine, the next, i feel like puking. And my back hurts, but I think that has to do with how I'm sleeping. But I'm not sure how I'm sleeping any differently than i have the past 6 months. Or it's another sign I'm getting old. Akk!

I've still got so much to do! Or so it seems. I've caught up a lot in my school work. I will be done this summer. Yay! I just need to slow down my head and think things through slowly. If I keep my priorities in order, and my time on the computer conserved, I'll get through this summer with my head a lot clearer with much more accomplished.

bleh. TO bed with me! Maybe I'll get to work on the Ham Radio Extra Exam Pool tomorrow. woo!

MAN where did the time go? It sure flys when your confuzzled and lonely. but hey! I don't complain ^_^ It's my fault really. Every things my fault. Because I'm a guy. that's how it works right?

Wrong. But that's how it's seemed my entire life. blah.

I need to keep up with this more. I need to do more things productive! and I need a shower. Gross!

"Camp out" ... "Showers" ... get it?

Whoop! So this past Friday/Saturday the Boy Scouts had a "Camp out" (Heavy on the quotations). It was pretty awesome! This was the second "Camp Out" we've had. The first one was earlier in the month.. don't remember which day. the 9th-10th? Basically on these "Camp Outs" we pretty much play video games all night... yeah we're total nerds. Not really, but yeah.. well we had 7 computers going, playing video games against each other. I ain't gonna lie it was pretty fun! Minus my computer blippin' out on me. Windows Vista seems to work just fine as long as I'm not trying to force it to work faster. lol. This time was a little different. We had 3 more computers and 5 more guys. More gaming, mucho excitement.

It took me this long to post about all this because I wanted to post pictures. But I've 'misplaced' (heavy on the quotations) my sisters camera.. no one tell! I know it's here somewhere. or maybe it's still at the house we did the games at.. dunno! it was fun though. I'll update this post with pictures when I can ^_^

I got an email today from the guys that are sending my some new carburetors for my motorcycle. Finalizing some information about my bike and location so they can tweak them just right. I should have my carbs within 7 days! I predict anyway... I'll have to start fine cleaning my bike to get it ready for it's first ride after so long! Of course I still have some work to do on it to make it perfectly pretty, but as long as it runs I'll be that much happier. fine tuning and beautifying comes next. Life on two wheels here I come!!

Here's my bike as it is now in the garage. Not real pretty yet, but I'll fix the dents and clean it up when ever I can. So thrilled!

personal satisfaction through technological advances..

woo! so I just amazed myself again at house awesome I think technology is....

So today was great! Easy Exam in school, and it was a half day. Easiest school day of my life, Other than the days in my past that I've skipped. Well after that I got home and did a few little chores for my momma. Eva had invited me to hang out with her, and well, I haven't seen her in a long time. Exciting invite there. My mother made me do some homework first. I feel like a child just saying that to myself... "Do your homework Taylor!" (quoting me yelling at myself). So I finished some and began the trip waaay down to Granbury! It's so great when friends invite me down and let me know whats going on so I can come hang with my good ol' pals!! None of y'all know quite how much I miss y'all.

Well so I drove the wonder hour and some odd minutes to her house. It was great. I brought along my hacked xbox and a bag of cookie mix Just in case! Seein' Peanut was awesome too (her little sister I call her peanut. Although I can't remember why... There IS a story to it somewhere back). We ended up not even opening my cookie mix bag though. Eva's mom likes to bake things that require more hand on experience. Or, at least more than add one egg, add one stick of butter, add powder, mix, bake eat. Too simple. That is much perfectly fine by me. The cookies she made were delicious! We couldn't find chocolate chips however.. Luckily I did discover a half full AND half empty bag of Rolo's... and Eva's mom found a Hershey's Symphony bar. so we mixed 'em together along with chocolate rice krispy's. Magical... Purely Magical. Fresh from the oven, we shuffled the cookies onto a plate and ran it out the door to my truck. Then we went to her place of work. Can't remember what it was called. I picked up a card but I think I lost it already.. well needless to say it was an awesome place. They make clay molds of things like pots, small monkeys-frogs-pigs-dogs gnomes. Tons of things! Then they let people come in and paint anything they want on them. After a glossy deep fired kiln finish and one week to cool off, you have a glorious piece of personal art! I'm still workin' on a monkey.. I am very serious with my art. Or rather I'm just no to good so I have to go slow.
Oh! I forgot the best surprise of all!! Melody came up too! hahaaa. It was great! She painted a Dinosaur. Now I can't remember his name either. Arg. I hate my forgetfulness sometimes. Last stop of the night was Wendy's. That was a blast.

All in all I could say I was in an extremely good mood tonight. Of course I was hangin' with two of my most favorite people! We must do that again some time. For sure.

well now it's 3:15. I have no idea what i got distracted by.. but it worked! I can sure tell I'm tired because I left out a lot of good details. I'm still learning the blogging ways. forgive me. I even had to count how many cars I saw on my drive home to keep me awake. it worked very well.. I got up to 568 before i was almost home and didn't care anymore. haha

English (school subject) sucks

I am quite disappointed in myself on my lack in blog posts. At the least I've been able to stay steady with my website agreement. That's a plus.

So.., wow. a lot has happened since my last post.. It's 1 AM now though, so I'm going to entrap my further energy in stalking some "Z's"

I'll be back on the latter morrow to make a real post. Not guaranteeing I'll type out every event since November; I'll try to sum things up nicely! Although a few things have been made apparent. Pretty much all on my web projects have halted, or been halted for a while. I may probably just close them until another time. The Myspace fad is dying in my story anyway. Perhaps I'll guide people on how to do some the amazing things I do!! Ha! As if anyone whom reads this blog understands how amazing I think I am. I swear I'm not egotistical or anything of the sort. I am simply way too easily amused...
